THERMOPLASTIC SINGLE-PLY ROOFING (TPO)
Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) single-ply membranes has become one of the fastest-growing roofing systems for large commercial and industrial facilities. TPO is engineered to be highly heat reflective, making it a very energy-efficient choice for commercial low slope roof on large facilities. It is also extremely resistant to ultraviolet (UV) light, ozone gas, and chemical exposure. Rackley Roofing is a TPO roofing installation specialist, well known among manufacturers and customers alike for efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality TPO installations throughout Tennessee.
ETHYLENE PROPYLENE DIENE MONOMER (EPDM)
Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) roofing is a type of synthetic rubber that makes an excellent choice for many flat and low-slope roofing applications. EPDM roofing features enhanced flexibility over TPO roofing products, making it an ideal choice for extreme temperatures. Additionally, EPDM roofing is available in a standard black color as well as highly-reflective white color, a fantastic option for heat reflectivity, keeping facilities’ interiors cooler and contributing to potentially-significant energy savings.
POLYVINYL CHLORIDE (PVC)
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) roofing is a single-ply form of thermoplastic membrane, a category which also includes TPO roofing membranes. PVC roofing is economical, fast to install, flexible, puncture resistant, and capable of standing up to UV radiation, weathering, and large changes in temperature, for many years and even decades of reliable long-term performance.

BUILT-UP ROOFING (BUR)
Smooth Modified BUR, also known as “BUR,” is a traditional commercial roofing system that has been used in the United States for more than a century. BUR roofs are also commonly known as “tar and gravel” roofing systems, and they are composed of multiple alternating layers of bitumen (asphalt) and reinforcing fabrics, which combine to create a complete membrane. Rackley Roofing has been working with built-up roofing for more than four decades, and we have a trusted reputation for our experience and skill in built-up roofing installation, maintenance, and repair.
GREEN ROOFING AND PAVER SYSTEMS
For flat commercial and industrial roofs that are designed to handle the weight loads, green roofs have become an appealing option. These systems enable you to plant a living garden on your roof, and pavers act as walkways through your rooftop oasis. In addition to helping curb water runoff, growing plants on your facility’s roof can also block heat absorption, noticeably lowering energy bills. Rackley Roofing offers advanced, customizable modular green roof systems consisting of interlocking soil receptacles that float above the flat roof membrane. Your roof park will be transformed into a lovely, tranquil space.
