Curtis started his career as a basic roofing laborer in 1992. From that point on, it has been a fast climb up the ladder of success. Curtis has literally worked every job in roofing. That experience on the roof has led him to creating a company culture that demonstrates care and concern for both employees and customers. Curtis came to Rackley Roofing in 2010 and immediately changed the culture with his strong belief that great employees make a great company.
Curtis is also a strong advocate for the latest technology. This combination of respect for old-school trade skills and high-tech applications has catapulted Rackley Roofing to its position as the most professional commercial roofer in Tennessee.
David Frost took the helm of Rackley Roofing in 1987. His goal was to make a name for Rackley as the hassle-free roofer. He accomplished this in a big way. Expanding Rackley’s business base across Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia, David built Rackley’s reputation as a commercial and industrial roofer with a gold standard reputation.
Chris and his wife, Connie, settled in Carthage, Tennessee in 1981. The local newspaper needed a reporter/editor, and small-town living appealed to him. The Baxters wanted to raise their family in a small town setting. Carthage, with its welcoming neighborhood and beautiful riverside perch, was a perfect fit. Chris has shared many hours with his family and friends, paddling the Caney Fork River and hiking the beautiful hills around Carthage.
In 1983, Chris seized the opportunity to join Rackley Roofing. He’s been in the roofing business ever since. His work at Rackley has enabled Chris and his wife to raise three daughters to their own prosperity, in a place they love. Still a journalist at heart, Chris insists on getting the facts straight, and enjoys his reputation for complete transparency in his key role as Vice President of Estimating.
Lila Thomas came to Rackley Roofing as a receptionist in 1984. Her love of numbers and balancing the books sent her down the path to becoming the CFO of Rackley Roofing. A rare female executive in the roofing industry, Lila’s love for Rackley is only surpassed by her love of God. Since the age of eleven, she has been playing the piano in church every Sunday. Lila is well-known in the community for her service to others and stellar reputation.
